international schools teaching both local and foreign students in Sri Lanka and
have conducted language group classes for students from low income families
organizing Language concerts, Spelling Bee competitions and Best Speakers’
Contests for them.
Currently reading for Masters of Science in Mass Communication, holding a
Bachelors of Arts degree in Social Sciences, Diplomas in Primary Teaching and
Professional skills in Teaching. Also experienced in developing curriculum as well
as conducting teacher training and parenting programs. Have participated in
several Cambridge webinars and TISSL conferences.
Understands each student’s unique learning styles and implement innovate
teaching methods to grasp the concepts and languages fast and make sure to create
more enjoyable learning environment including games, quizzes, puzzles and
riddles to the lessons.
Prepares learners to fit the 21 st Century, building an ethical citizen, engaged thinker
and entrepreneurial spirit in them. And her vision is to produce global citizens who
are street smart with human values, have the ability to face challenges and re shape
the future of the world.
